International Shipping Information Worksheet

But in order to ensure this process is fast and frictionless, we require specific information. Without it, shipments can be delayed or even forfeited at customs. No kidding! We recently had a client who was unable to provide all of these details, and the country the items shipped to were impounded and will not be returned to the United States.

So to proactively prepare all of your assets for international shipment (even if you don’t foresee shipping them overseas right now), it’s important to submit all of the required information whenever new items are added to your Axis inventory. After all, doing it when the items are acquired ensures information such as original receipts, manufacturer’s information, etc. are still top of mind and easily accessible. Wait a few years, and it’s going to be difficult, if not impossible, to find all of the necessary information.
