Storylink Creative is proud to be the newest member of the Experiential Designers and Producers Association, a professional network for leaders in the experience industry. Having been a longtime participant in the organization’s Upper Midwest chapter, Storylink officially joined the association, which currently represents more than 300 corporations across 18 different countries.
“I attended by first EDPA National Conference in 2005, and the experience was instrumental in helping me establish a network of experienced professionals who knew the ins and the outs of the trade show and event world,” said Travis Stanton, Director of Strategy at Storylink. “Today, EDPA keeps me abreast of how the industry is evolving, providing data and insights that help us continue to set partners up for success. And it provides myriad opportunities to give back to an industry that has been so good to myself and many others.”
According to EDPA, its members combine marketing, design, and production leadership to help organizations create effective face-to-face customer experiences and environments for trade shows, events, corporate environments, museums, and retailers. It boasts a series of nine regional chapters, as well as an international chapter, and an alliance with the Exhibitions Industry Collective, which brings together leading exhibition and event companies to positively impact the larger industry.
“EDPA opens doors to a world of opportunities, where industry leaders connect, collaborate, and innovate,” said Dasher Lowe, EDPA Executive Director. “As an EDPA member, Storylink helps to drive growth within the experiential, exhibit, and event industry through advocacy, networking, education, and good works.”
The EDPA Foundation, formed in 2001, works to provide support to industry members and their families in need through financial assistance during times of crisis, and educational scholarships for creative thinkers and future leaders. Created in 2004, the foundation’s scholarship fund has awarded more than 135 scholarships totaling more than $400,000.
“Part of Storylink’s DNA is to get involved in the broader community and contribute to organizations committed to education, advocacy, and philanthropy,” said Director of Creative, Casey Baron. “So when we discussed joining EDPA and its mission, it was really a no-brainer, and we look forward to working alongside other members to advance our industry and advocate for exhibit and event professionals.”
