Storylink Creative is proud to announce that earlier this year, its exhibit for DecoPac Inc. received the People’s Choice Award in the 11th annual Portable/Modular Awards competition, honoring design excellence in portable, modular, and system exhibits. The 50-by-50-foot exhibit, which debuted at the 2022 International Dairy Deli Bakery Association, was a finalist for Best Use of Graphics, Best Fabric Exhibit, and Best Use of Technology (for a projection-mapping installation that replicated the nearly limitless party themes DecoPac’s cake decorations can accommodate).
As part of the competition, marketers and exhibiting pros were encouraged to vote for their favorite booth online. Having earned the most votes from among the 30+ finalists, DecoPac’s exhibit was named the 2024 People’s Choice Award winner during a ceremony in Nashville earlier this year.
“Celebrating Life’s Moments was the theme of our IDDBA booth,” said Tina Steichen, marketing operations manager for DecoPac. “Through messaging, color, and technology, the Storylink team helped portray our message of how DecoPac can be your partner in bringing celebrations to life.”
“We are so proud to count DecoPac among our partners, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see their exhibit honored in this way. We’d also like to thank our partners at BeMatrix USA and Moss Inc., who provided the systems incorporated into the award-winning booth,” said Storylink’s Director of Strategy, Travis Stanton. “From the colorful graphics to the projection installation, this design was created to be a crowd pleaser, so it’s no surprise to us to see it claim this prestigious award.”
“From the moment you stepped inside the space, you could feel the joy in celebrating Life’s Moments from baby, teen, and young adult to more mature audiences and everything in between,” added Steichen. “The DecoPac team was extremely happy with how everything came together, and we look forward to more IDDBAs ahead.”
No stranger to the Portable/Modular Awards, Storylink won the Best Reconfigurable Exhibit award in 2020 for its modular design that accommodated Hyatt Hotels Corp. at a variety of events, including the Global Business Travel Association and IMEX America, to name a few. The company’s work has also qualified as a finalist in past Portable/Modular Awards competitions for categories such as Best Rental Exhibit and Best Use of Graphics for exhibits that served clients such as Rapala, Zevia, and Red Bull.

About the Portable/Modular Awards
The Portable/Modular Awards, produced by Exhibitor magazine, honor design excellence in portable, modular, and system exhibits. The competition is judged by a panel of marketing and design experts. All entries must primarily comprise a prefabricated portable and/or modular exhibit system or components thereof. They must be primarily used in a temporary marketing capacity (e.g., trade show, corporate event, outdoor festival, etc.) and must be realized stands as opposed to renderings/concepts that have never been constructed.
