Meet the Momentum

Introducing Storylink Creative's Q1 2026 New Hires!

Growth doesn’t just show up in bigger projects, bolder ideas, or a packed production schedule. It shows up in people. As Storylink Creative continues to expand, Q1 2026 brought an influx of new talent across departments, with each hire adding depth, perspective, and capability to our team.

From engineering and HR to warehouse operations and exhibit construction, this group reflects a deliberate investment in both experience and potential. The result? A stronger, more agile team ready to deliver even more impactful work for our clients.

Let’s meet the people behind the momentum.

Roger LaBrant

CAD Detailer/Production Build Engineer

Roger LaBrant serves as a CAD Detailer and Production Build Engineer at Storylink Creative, where he supports the engineering team by producing build drawings, graphic reference drawings, and setup drawings wherever they’re needed most. With 30 years of experience in CAD drafting and CNC machine programming — including 23 years at Capital Wood Products in St. Paul — Roger brings deep technical expertise from the retail fixture manufacturing world. Recruited to Storylink by Engineering Manager Dan Jensen, a former colleague, he enjoys applying his skills in a new industry while helping strengthen the engineering department’s capabilities.

Josh Reyes

Builder

Josh Reyes joins Storylink Creative as a Builder, where he balances multiple shop projects — from crafting cabinets and custom signage to managing shipping crates and supporting warehouse operations. With more than four years as a traveling contractor specializing in exhibit installation and dismantling, plus seven years in the restaurant industry rising from cook to management, Josh brings a well-rounded, hands-on perspective. Having previously worked with the Storylink team, he’s excited to grow within the industry and contribute as a dependable, results-driven teammate. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, organizing events, staying active in his church, and spending time with his son. He also has an identical twin!

Melissa Ernst

Human Resources Manager

Melissa Ernst is the Human Resources Manager at Storylink Creative, bringing more than 15 years of experience across talent management, program management, strategy, and consultant management. Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, she now lives in Dayton, Minnesota, with her spouse, Quintin, their daughter Ady, and two very opinionated cats, Blanche and Mister George. Outside of work, Melissa is an avid sports fan who loves basketball and volleyball and spends much of her time cheering on Ady from gym to gym or enjoying family adventures skiing, biking, and relaxing at the lake.

Abby Kivell

Project Management Coordinator

As a Project Management Coordinator, Abby Kivell supports the project management team by ensuring that all initiatives are organized, on track, and moving forward. With five years of experience in marketing and events, she brings a strong foundation in coordination and execution. Drawn to Storylink by its innovative exhibits and the opportunity to blend her passions for organization and live experiences, Abby approaches her work with calm ambition, enthusiasm, and meticulous attention to detail. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and her two cats — and once met Adam Sandler in France!

Marcos Hernandez

Builder & Set-Up Technician

Marcos Hernandez joins Storylink Creative as a Builder and Set-Up Technician, bringing hands-on expertise and a strong work ethic to every project. Previously a chef and kitchen lead, he developed a fast-paced, detail-oriented approach that translates seamlessly to exhibit construction and installation. Drawn to Storylink’s culture, flexibility, and growth opportunities, Marcos is excited to build his career while contributing to the team’s success. Known as a quick learner and natural mentor, he takes pride in organization and precision. Outside of work, he enjoys time with family, paddleboarding, exploring restaurants and wineries, and supporting fellow Hispanics as they adapt to life in the U.S.

More Than Headcount

What stands out about this group isn’t just their collective experience. It’s the diversity of it. From restaurant kitchens to CAD stations, from AV production to HR strategy, these hires bring fresh ways of thinking to every phase of our business. And that diversity matters.

It makes us better problem-solvers. It strengthens our ability to anticipate challenges before they happen. And it ensures that when our clients trust us with their brand stories, they’re backed by a team with both the technical expertise and the human perspective to bring those stories to life.

For our clients, this growth means expanded capabilities, deeper bench strength, and the confidence that your projects are supported by a team built to scale.

For future teammates, it’s a sign of where we’re headed. Storylink Creative isn’t just growing. We’re growing intentionally, bringing in people who are curious, driven, and ready to make an impact.
